4. E. To solve this problem, work backwards. That is, perform FOIL on each answer choice until you derive the original expression.
5. A. A set of six numbers with an average of 4 must have a collective sum of 24. The two numbers that average 2 will add up to 4, so the remaining numbers must add up to 20. The average of these four numbers can be calculated: 20/4 = 5.
6. C. Prime numbers are those that are only evenly divisible by one and themselves.
